Venting Applications of Fox Ejectors

Air Ejector for Tank VEnting
Fox Air and Gas Ejectors are frequently used as exhausters to vent gases from a tank or vessel.

Venting Explosive, Corrosive, or Dusty Gasses with No Moving Parts

Fox Venturi Ejectors eliminate the need for blowers or fans with XP motors, Teflon-coated blades, or other very expensive options that add enormously to cost but still don’t protect your process from intermittent failure.

Extracting Hydrocarbon Vapors

When process tanks, vessels, and processes are filled with hydrocarbon liquids, hazardous gasses must often be vented during the filling process or due to temperature changes. Fox ejectors are frequently installed to remove gas buildup in the headspace in tanks and vessels. Gasses can be discharged to scrubbers or flare headers.

Venting Trucks, Tankers and Railcars

Fox ejectors are frequently used to evacuate explosive or hazardous gasses from trucks and railcars. Multiple trucks can be connected to a pipe manifold which is then connected to the ejector suction port. The ejector can then discharge gasses to a scrubber, flare header or other destination.

Purging Pipelines or Tubing for Maintenance

Fox ejectors are being used to evacuate tubing and pipelines from ¼ inch OD to 36 inch diameter pipe.

Venturi Ejectors do NOT Require Compressed Air!

Fox supplies many different types of blowers – ranging in pressure from 2 – 14 psig – to drive venturi ejectors in continuous gas venting applications.
