About Fox Venturi Products

Fox Valve is a global leader in the design and manufacture of engineered venturi products used across the entire spectrum of industrial and aerospace applications. Our integrated engineering and manufacturing expertise are incorporated into all of our engineered venturi solutions, from one-time installations to prototype development for inclusion in OEM products. We are a privately-owned small business founded in 1961.

Products and Solutions

Fox products can be divided into five major categories:

  1. Solids Conveying Eductors – For pneumatic conveying of powders and bulk solids. These products are used to convey everything from apple bits to zircon sand in industries as diverse as food, cement, chemicals, power plants, and mines. These are available as:
    1. Off the shelf, standard products
    2. Custom engineered systems
  2. Liquid Eductors – For broad industrial applications: pumping, mixing, diluting, evacuation, venting, vacuum generation
  3. Air, Gas, and Steam Ejectors single- and multi-stage ejectors for venting, exhausting, or creating deep vacuum in the food, power, chemical, paper, and other industries
  4. Liquid/Solid Slurry Eductors – mix or dissolve powders, pellets and bulk solids into liquids in a broad range of industries – especially food, chemical, and water treatment applications
  5. Venturi Flow Control ProductsCavitating Venturies, Sonic Chokes, and ΔP Venturi Flowmeters

Company History

Zola Fox with 1950 Rocket Engine

Fox Valve was founded by Zola Fox in 1961 to provide highly engineered, custom-designed and manufactured venturi flow controls for liquid rocket engines, spacecraft, research, and demanding industrial applications. Fox operates from a 15,000 ft² manufacturing and engineering building located in Dover, New Jersey.

Fox Valve CNC Department

Fox Valve integrates sixty years of venturi design experience with outstanding manufacturing capability. Our company culture was formed by our origins in the 1960’s as designers and manufacturers of specialized, flight-qualified venturi hardware for spacecraft applications – learn more about our history. Our in-house manufacturing facility still builds flight-qualified equipment that is launched into space, and applies these same standards of workmanship and excellence to the industrial hardware we build for our industrial customers.

Fox QA and Inspection Office
Our Quality Assurance department oversees inspection, testing, compliance, and traceability of all hardware before shipment

Our highly flexible manufacturing facility can:

  1. Build custom engineered venturi hardware to the most demanding industry quality standards – for food & pharma, spacecraft, oil and gas, and industrial applications
  2. Quickly produce proof-of-concept prototypes, and small quantities of development units engineered to unique OEM customer requirements, leading to fully optimized production equipment
  3. Use our CNC (computer numerically controlled) lathes to make production batches of 50 – 4000 pieces for our OEM customers
  4. Integrate our engineered venturi products with other equipment – such as:
    • Pneumatic conveying systems with blowers, hoppers, dust collectors, valves and controls
    • Steam jet vacuum and Evaporative Cooling systems, with inter and after-condensers, skid mounted with instruments, valves and controls
    • Slurry systems with bulk bag unloaders, washdown hoppers, shut-off valves
    • Air jet ejectors for gas venting with matched blowers
