Fox Venturi Eductors are used for pneumatic conveying of ash and fly ash in dilute phase systems. Is a maintenance-free pneumatic conveying solution of interest at your plant?
Learn More about how our conveying systems are used in the Power Industry
Fox venturi eductors are installed in hundreds of power plants in a number of different applications. These include:
- pollution control systems, such as activated carbon injection (ACI), flue gas desulfurization (FGD) and other sorbent injection applications for pollution mitigation. In all cases, 24/7 reliability is critical, which is why venturi eductors are often the preferred solution.
- Fuel feed, especially biomass and ash-reinjection. Fox eductors are especially applicable in waste-to-energy plants conveying industrial or municipal waste (RDF) such as shredded paper and plastic, chopped tires (TDF), dried sewage sludge, ground carpets, and a huge variety of agricultural waste products.
- Ash handling – Fox eductors convey ash at temperatures up to 1600° F from cyclones, dust collectors, and multiclones. These are often tool-steel, chrome-carbide, or ceramic-lined.
