Fox eductors are installed in hundreds of plants pneumatically conveying many types of sand and clay. These materials can be very fine and abrasive powders that can cause severe blowback and maintenance failures with rotary valves, but can be conveyed with air using venturi eductors with no dust, no blowback, and little or no maintenance. Fox eductors convey kaolin and bentonite clay at mines and end users since the 1980s.

Fox eductors are installed to convey sand in many types of applications, such as fracking sand used as a proppant at well-drilling sites; and in glass, tile, and ceramic manufacturing. Silica sand, quartz sand, and foundry sand can be conveyed at temperatures up to 1600° F. Fox ceramic-lined eductors are used to convey abrasive sands that contain magnetite, zircon or basalt.

Please contact us to discuss your requirements for a conveying system. Fox Valve has been supplying performance-guaranteed pneumatic conveying systems since the 1970’s.
