Chemical plants, refineries, and manufacturers from Texas to Australia have installed Fox venturi eductors since the 1980s to pneumatically convey a huge range of chemicals in hundreds of different plants, refineries, and chemical processes. Because some of these chemicals can be toxic, hazardous, corrosive or explosive, fugitive dust and blowback from rotary valves is a major problem for workers, neighbors, and regulators. Fox venturi systems can convey these products as prills, powders, or pellets with no fugitive dust and little or no maintenance.

Eductors can convey from pelletizers, extruders, bulk bags, augers, dust collectors, screeners, screw feeders, and grinders with no blowback or dust. Explosive powders, which would require rotary valves with X-proof motors, can be conveyed with Fox venturi eductors in a much simpler and cost-effective solution. Fox eductors are in kept in stock in carbon steel as well as 304 and 316 stainless steel, but are also available in many corrosion-resistant metals such as Alloy 20, monel, titanium, and Hastelloy®, etc. Any end connection such as NPT or BSP threads, camlocks, flanges, or weld prep can be specified.
