Fox Venturi Eductors are used for pneumatic conveying of petroleum coke in dilute phase systems. Is a maintenance-free pneumatic conveying solution of interest at your plant?
Fox venturi eductors are installed in hundreds of power plants in a number of different applications. These include: A) pollution control systems, such as activated carbon injection (ACI), flue gas desulfurization (FGD) and other sorbent injection applications for pollution mitigation. In all cases, 24/7 reliability is critical, which is why venturi eductors are often the preferred solution. B) Fuel feed, especially biomass and ash-reinjection. Fox eductors are especially applicable in waste-to-energy plants conveying industrial or municipal waste (RDF) such as shredded paper and plastic, chopped tires (TDF), dried sewage sludge, ground carpets, and a huge variety of agricultural waste products. C) Ash handling – Fox eductors convey ash at temperatures up to 1600° F from cyclones, dust collectors, and multiclones. These are often tool-steel, chrome-carbide, or ceramic-lined.
Fox eductors have been installed at major utilities since the 1970s.
