Global chemical plants have used Fox venturi eductors since the 1970s to pneumatically convey hundreds of chemicals in a huge variety of plants and processes. Because many of these chemicals are toxic, hazardous, corrosive or explosive, fugitive dust emissions from rotary airlocks is a major problem. Fox venturi eductors can convey these chemicals , as prills, powders, or pellets, with no blowback, no fugitive dust, and little or no maintenance. Eductors can convey from bulk bags, augers screeners, pelletizers, extruders, screw feeders, reactors, sieves, and grinders with no blowback or dust. Explosive powders, which would require airlocks with expensive X-proof motors, are often conveyed with venturi eductors in a far simpler system. Fox eductors are in kept in stock in 316 stainless steel, but are also available in any corrosion-resistant metal such as monel, titanium, Hastelloy®, Alloy 20, etc. Any end connections can be specified.
