Fox venturi eductors are installed in hundreds mines and metal processing plants, pneumatically conveying ore, metal powders, metal dust, and calcinate. Metal powders can be very abrasive, very hot, and very fine, which are all no problem for Fox eductors. Fox venturies have been used to convey dense copper, steel, and iron pellets with bulk densities up to of 400 lbs/ft3.
Fox eductors convey innoculants into cupulas at many foundries, in addition to conveying foundry dust, metal chips, flakes, and grit.
