Pneumatic Conveying of Ash to 1,800 Degrees Fahrenheit

Fox Venturi Eductors are used for pneumatic conveying of ash to 1,800 degrees Fahrenheit in dilute phase systems. Is a maintenance-free pneumatic conveying solution of interest at your plant?

Fox venturi eductors are installed to provide reliable pneumatic conveying in hundreds of power and waste-to-energy plants. They are installed in a number of different applications. These include: a) pollution abatement systems such as activated carbon injection (ACI), flue gas desulfurization (FGD), and other sorbent injection applications; b) pneumatically conveying ash at temperatures up to 1600° F from cyclones, dust collectors, and multiclones. These are often tool-steel, chrome-carbide or ceramic-lined. c) Pneumatically conveying alternative fuels and biomass to combustion chambers, fluidized beds, incinerators, and reactors. Fox eductors are installed globally at waste-to-energy plants conveying shredded paper and plastic, chopped tires (TDF), industrial or municipal waste (RDF), dried sewage sludge, ground carpets, and a huge variety of agricultural waste.

Fox eductors have been installed at major utilities since the 1970s.
