Another name for Fox thermocompressors might be 'steam jet compressors'. Many processes use steam for various functions, venting off waste steam at 10 - 15 psig. Other processes may demand steam at 25-30 psig. Thermocompressors enable the low-pressure waste steam to be boosted to a higher pressure, effectively reclaiming its available energy. Compression of steam flow can be achieved with no moving parts due to the simplicity of the ejector design. |
