Additive Injection
with Fox Eductors
Thousands of Fox eductor systems have been provided to enable industrial users to inject or convey additives reliably with no maintenance, no blowback or leakage, and with no moving parts. Small 1"-2" Fox eductors driven with small Rotron blowers running at 2 - 3 psig provide highly reliable, maintenance-free, cost-effective additive injection. Typical applications include:
Flue Gas Conditioning - Activated carbon, Calcium carbonate
For more information, download Bulletin 305
Acid Neutralization - Limestone

Pre-Coat; Filter Cake for dust collection filter media - talc, gypsum,
Inoculants - Foundry additives
Minor Food Ingredients - Spices, sugar, starch
Flow Additives - Acrawax, SiO2
Flue Gas Desulfurization - Hydrated lime, Limestone, CaCO3
| Fox Valve can supply as much of your additive injection system as you require. At right is a pre-coat injection system, which includes a DP transducer, feeder, blower, and eductor. This system senses when the filter media needs pre-coat and directs to the feeder to dose material only when necessary. |
