Fox Gas Jet Ejector
Air Movers and Exhauster where
Shallow Vacuum is Needed
Fox stocks a standard line of air ejectors for simple ventilation, sampling, and aeration applications etc. They are Series 280 Air ejectors. These are stocked in 1/2" through 2" line sizes in carbon steel and stainless.
Features include
- Optimized for moving high volumes of gas with minimal compressed air consumption.
- Maximum shutoff vacuum (using 80 psig air): 8 psia
| Typical Applications: |

Sulfur Pit Venting
Although often thought of as being a steam ejector application, a jacketed version of the Series 280 Air Ejector can be very successfully used in this common situation. Sulfur fumes need to be removed constantly from the sulfur pit to prevent venting to the atmosphere. The heated jacket on the exhauster prevents crystallization of the sulfur and therefore buildup inside the ejector itself. Fox has been heat-jacketing our equipment since the 1960's. These jacketed ejectors are not stock items. |
